Volume Two focuses on Job’s three friends—Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar—who not only visited him during his affliction, but also mourned with him and comforted him. However, as “comforters”, they made false accusations against him—speaking thoughtlessly.
This set includes the first round of debates between Job and his three friends, who concluded that his suffering was brought about by personal sin. However, Job’s faith did not waiver. Their discussion continues with increasing emotional intensity, as Job rebukes his friends for judging him, and makes an appeal to the Lord as his judge and refuge.
